Week 5 Sketch

I got the inspiration for this sketch from reading the section about lines and how they could represent some movement -- and wanted to try my hand at it by using the back head as the motion of the guy standing up. It looks more like a weird ghost or something to me, but oh well. Hopefully nothing like that ever happens to me!

Week 4 Sketch

I was stuck with some of the emphasis sketches that we had to do for class (since we could only use arrows) so I wanted to figure out a sketch or two. This is one of them that came up (the squiggly lines being the arrows for in the actual sketch exercise). To spice things up, I thought of adding the little people climbing out of the middle as to escape death into an unknown world. Who knows what will come next week!

Week 3 Sketch

When I did this sketch, I was originally thinking "hmm.. how can I create unity with curves?" Then, all of a sudden, I just started drawing the bottom base and ended up with a nice cup of tea or hot cocoa. Shoud've added the marshmellows though! But I think what I was going for was creating a sort of unity with the curves from the steams or the "smell oras". Well, I'll be off to grab myself a nice cup of hot tea right about now. Ta ta for now!

Week 2 Sketch

This is one of my favorites that I've done so far. My mom had pink roses that were from my grandma's rose bushes in a vase, and so I drew one of them and put an "outdoorsey, fantasy" feel to it by adding a spider, dragonfly, and a little pixie with some magical pixie dust.
