Week 10 Sketch

I am trying to practice drawing people more because that is one of the hardest subjects for me to draw. And, as Cassie wanted me to do in my last drawing, add a face. So, I decided to add a face to my person since the majority of the people have been either stick figures or people without faces. Basically, I copied a catalog model from Victoria's Secret and twisted it a little bit by making her into a dancer (kinda sorta). Let me know what you think! =]

Week 9 Sketch

This is a girl in a very long dress just relaxing, enjoying a nice beautiful night outside with the wind blowing through her long "locks". The inspiration came from looking at some catalogs and wanting to finally draw some people and will definitely keep practicing because this is probably my weakest point in drawing.

Week 8 Sketch

Since this week has been really frustrating, I decided to take it out on an old game of Scrabble. I got the inspiration from watching an episode of Two and a Half Men when Alan was playing a game of Scrabble with Rose (since it's one of Alan's favorite games). Maybe this could be when Alan had a major meltdown! ~_^ But I decided to make the scrabble pieces spell something everyone loves... can you guess what it is?

Week 7 Sketch

Well, this sketch came out of pure frustration with a problem from my Intro to Computer Science class and this homework set had to do with problem-solving skills. So, I got really frustrated putting different combinations of numbers to figure out a collection of numbers that created a sum of 3165. As you can see, it took little time to actually do it on piece of paper and that's why I got frustrated. That's when the army of little people decided to come back and take it out for me. Grrrrrr!! >=[

Week 6 Sketch

This was a sketch when I got bored and I randomly thought of a floating box because of our textbook and about how values can help in "animating" 2D figures. Also, I was sort of craving a donut at the time (and so did the bear it seems). ~_^
